OUR STORY

How we started

 

After struggling with infertility for 4 years and openly sharing our story through blogging, local media and public speaking I am now a mom to two perfect miracles, who just so happen to be beautiful red heads ;)

I always knew I wanted to be a mom and once we finally had children I knew without a doubt I wanted to be home with them as much as possible. I went to school for nursing, and although it's a great career, and I love helping people, the long hours didn't allow me to be home with my daughter as much as I wanted to. I tried a couple side businesses here and there, but I couldn't find that special something that I was truly passionate about.

It wasn't until a couple of months after our second daughter was born that I did a favor for a friend. Something I do all of the time for  friends and family, something I love to do, and that something is making cupcakes. I love to bake. I always have. Experimenting in the kitchen with my Mom and Grandma is one of my fondest memories.

That one order for that one friend turned into 5 more orders which then turned into more orders.

So here I am; Here we are. Taking a leap of faith, that our community will give Ginger Girls Cupcakes a chance.

We hope you all will love our product as much as my two little ginger girls do. ;)
